Community Dental Camps

A free camp wherever a community already gathers — apartments, temples, ashrams, community halls and NGO centres.

🏥 Overview

What this programme is

The single biggest barrier to dental care in India is not cost or awareness. It is that going to a clinic requires a decision, a journey and a day. Community camps remove all three by arriving where people already are.

These camps are free to the host and free to the participant. They are funded by our corporate programme and by donors.

Who it is for

Three main hosts

Resident welfare associations

Weekend camps in the community hall. Typically 150–300 residents over a day.

Temples, ashrams & gurudwaras

Reaching elderly and low-income visitors who have no other routine health contact.

NGOs & shelters

Camps for populations — construction workers, shelter residents, care homes — that clinics rarely see.

How it runs

Four steps on the ground

01

Request a date

Two-minute form. Our outreach lead confirms within two working days.

02

Confirm logistics

Space, chairs, power, water and a private corner for examinations. We bring everything clinical.

03

Run the camp

Education session, then screening, typically 09:00 to 16:00.

04

Report and refer

Host gets an anonymised summary in 14 days; red flags are chased individually.

💡 What we need from a host: a room, chairs, a power point, drinking water and someone to tell people the camp is happening. Publicity is genuinely the thing hosts most often under-do.

Bring Community Dental Camps to your community

Tell us where you are and roughly how many people. Our outreach lead replies within two working days.
