What actually changed

Numbers on the impact page tell you the scale. These tell you what it looked like for one person, one school, one village.

The ulcer that would not heal

At a routine village camp in Ramanagara district, a 52-year-old farmhand mentioned a sore inside his cheek that had been there "a few months". It was screened, flagged red, and biopsied within nine days.

Stage I. Treated. Back at work in eleven weeks. Had that camp not happened, the first hospital visit would almost certainly have come a year later — and squamous cell carcinoma at stage IV is a different conversation entirely.

"Nobody had ever looked inside my mouth before. They looked, and they did not let it go."

Sealants before cavities

A cohort of eight-year-olds sealed at a school camp, followed for two years. The comparison against the unsealed year group above them is the argument for the whole programme.

Prevention

Case studies are illustrative and drawn from the programme brief. Replace with documented, consented field cases before launch — and never publish an identifiable patient without written consent.

Testimonials

"Two hundred and forty children screened in one day, and every parent got a card telling them exactly what to do. We had never had anything like it."

"The reporting was better than most of our funded CSR projects. Baseline, quarterly updates, and an outcome comparison we could audit."
